Emerging technology becomes useful design material when it is made observable. Prototypes help us see behavior, limits, risks, and moments of real value.

The first prototype should reduce the question, not inflate the concept. A small interaction can reveal more than a large speculative demo if it is aimed at the right uncertainty.

Careful prototyping makes space for evidence. It lets the designer ask whether a technology should be used, not only how it could be used.
